Would you like to receive regular updates when new literature in your field is published?
We can assist you with performing a literature search on a specific topic and set you up so that you receive monthly or weekly email alerts of new relevant journal articles that have been added to the database.
Do you want to know what new books and journals are being added to the library stock?
You can visit the library blog for latest book reviews or visit the base-library website for a complete new book listing.
We can also help you to set up regular email updates from websites of interest eg, Royal College of Psychiatrists, NICE (for new guidance alerts) etc
For further information about the services listed above, please contact our Training Librarian, Anita Phul
In addition, the library committee has reviewed the alerting bulletins that were provided and decided that the format being used for its new alert bulletins are more effective.
The "mental health news" and "psychopharmacological bulletins" have arisen out of specific demand and are being compiled in partnership with a clinician or manager with expertise or interest in that area who helps to review the content.
We’re keen to expand this range and therefore if there are specific areas which you’d like us to develop and/or you would like to be involved, please get in touch via northcroft library
