Class 7 - The services we offer

 7.1. Clinical Services

Our Trust provides secondary care to people living in Birmingham and Solihull who are experiencing mental health problems. At times, we also provide services to people who live further afield.

Secondary care means that our services are more specialised than those offered by a GP or family doctor (a GP's care is called primary care).

Our Trust has recently undergone an operational change, seeing a move from the former eight clinical Directorates to three divisions. The new structure places our focus on improving the quality of the patient, carer and staff experience, and providing consistently high standards across Birmingham and Solihull. The three new divisions are:

Adults of Working Age Division (Director: Jonathan Lloyd)
Mental Health Services for Older People Division (Director: Glynis Markham)
Youth Addictions, Secure and Complex Care Division (Director: Kate Phipps)

For more information, please refer to the Services pages of this website.
