Birmingham Healthy Minds: Notes for effective referrals

Birmingham Healthy Minds (BHM) is a new primary care mental health service that is IAPT compliant and delivered in partnership with GPs, the mental health consortium and third sector organisations. This service provides psychological therapy for adults at the earliest opportunity.

BHM accept referrals by letter or by completing our referral template which can be faxed to the relevant team base. Alternatively, patients can be directed to self-refer by giving them a copy of the BHM service leaflet.
