Stop press: BSMHFT announces national RAID conference

Our trust’s pioneering Rapid Assessment Interface and Discharge service, based at City Hospital in Birmingham, is built on a model of care that both streamlines care and saves money.

The award-winning service, which was piloted in December 2009, is now attracting national interest following a glowing report by the London School of Economics for the NHS Confederation, which was published last week (November 17).

Now clinicians from all over the country are being invited to attend a special conference on RAID, to be held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, on Friday,
January 27, 2012.

Delegates attending the one-day conference will be able to learn more about RAID, what’s behind its high profile success, and how implementing the RAID model can help your organisation or trust.

Places can be booked at a special day rate of £100, which includes lunch and a delegate’s pack, by visiting the RAID conference page, contacting Sarah Beadman on 0121 301 1274 or emailing sarah.beadman@bsmhft.nhs.uk
