Birmingham Healthy Minds has changed to one number 0121 301 2525.
The BHM service booklet has been revised, so please can practices ensure that all copies of the old leaflet are removed from circulation. Hard copies of the new booklet are now available and are being delivered to practices by BHM staff.
Please note that the new service booklet is for GPs to give out to patients for information about the service when they wish to refer the patient. Our booklets should not be on display in surgery waiting rooms as we are a finite resource and would like GPs and primary care staff to prioritise those patients who are most appropriate and will engage with a psychological therapies service.
We are listening to your feedback and constantly reviewing our service, and we will take all steps possible to ensure we are maximising the service capacity. Your feedback and support is welcome, please contact Kully Ingram, BHM partnership manager on 07985 882 429 or email kulwinder.ingram@bsmhft.nhs.uk.
Thanks for your support.
We are in the process of revising our service referral template and while the option of self-referral by the new service booklet is available, we would prefer GPs to refer patients by letter, posted or faxed to their local team – see contact details below. All teams can be contacted on 0121 301 2525 via the relevant general enquiry line.
