Acute care for adults of working age is delivered by a number of services within our Trust, these include:
Home Treatment Teams - who offer crisis support at home to people with severe and enduring mental health problems who are experiencing serious mental distress.
Assertive Outreach Teams - provide long term and intensive support to people who are suffering from a mental health problem and are judged to be the most vulnerable. They support people who have historically avoided contact with mental health services.
Inpatient Services - A very small proportion of people seen by our Trust are treated in inpatient units.
Specialist Services - Specialist care such as Deaf Services, Neuropsychiatry, Mother and Baby and Eating Disorders.
