This includes:

  • epilepsy and other seizure disorders
  • sleep disorders
  • Huntington's disease
  • Tourette's syndrome
  • movement disorders
  • general conditions such as brain damage
  • Chronic Fatigue

The service provides specialist advice and treatment, and helps people to manage their conditions

Neuropsychiatry is an outpatient based service.   These clinics provide highly specialised treatment, as well as counselling and occupational therapy to help people cope in everyday life.  The service also has a small number of dedicated inpatient beds. These are used when 24 hour acute care is needed.  Depending on a person's needs, our staff can also provide home visits.

Our Neuropsychiatry service is unique, and the success of its clinics has been reflected in both national and international awards.
