Outpatient Clinics

Our outpatient clinics offer assessment, treatment and follow up without the need for service users to be admitted into an in patient facility or to attend a Day Hospital. 

This allows our service users to have an appointment with one of our specialist staff who will explore the reasons why referral to our Trust was necessary and agree a plan of treatment with the service user.  This may include other services such as community mental health teams or social care support.

Outpatient clinics are held in a number of places across Birmingham and Solihull.   Every effort is made to offer the earliest possible date for an appointment which should be within 8 weeks of the initial referral.  Service users are normally offered an appointment by letter with a date and time indicated.   However, if the appointment is not convenient, the clinic will offer an alternative date and time.
