Service User and Carer

Welcome to our Service User and Carer pages where you will find information and advice on mental health problems and how to manage them.

Mental health problems are very wide-ranging, from the stress and worry we all experience at times, to more serious conditions that can affect the way we live.

Around 1 in 4 people will experience some sort of mental health problem at some point in their lives.

A mental health problem only becomes serious if it begins to interfere with your ability to cope or function in your everyday life. It's important to recognise when this happens so you can look for some support.

Most people successfully manage their mental health problems, and with the right support, go on to lead very active and fulfilling lives.

These pages contain information on seeking further support for mental health problems and support for those who care for others.

We value the input which our service users and carers offer.  We have a number of projects to ensure that we learn from the experience of those who use our services.

Our useful links section contains a wide variety of external websites where you can learn more.
