Anxiety

Anxiety is a common feeling. When you experience anxiety, you feel overwhelming fear and unease. It can also involve physical symptoms such as sweating, quicker breathing and a rapidly beating heart.

For most people, this passes quickly. But for some, it never goes away, and it may feel like anxiety is ruling your life. This may lead you to avoid situations that make you anxious. While this may help in the short-term, it may stop you doing particular activities or going to certain places.

Common Problems

It is important to try to understand your anxiety if you feel it is affecting your life. By doing this, you can lessen its impact and begin to take control. Your GP can help you find a way to do this.
