If you do have a GP
If you, or someone you are concerned about, needs emergency treatment for a mental health problem you should contact your GP surgery. Your GP will be able to access emergency mental health services 24 hours a day. If your GP surgery is closed, an answer phone message will give you a number for an emergency doctor (Badger Clinic).
If you are unsure which GP surgery to contact, or you do not have your GP's address or phone number to hand, then you can get this information by searching here.
You can also find out by phoning NHS Direct on 0845 46 47. They will take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
