Find local groups, advocacy or support services

In Birmingham and Solihull there are many different groups, agencies and voluntary organisations that can help people who are experiencing mental health problems.

Our PALS Buzz Guide is a mini-directory to wellbeing and mental health support in Birmingham and Solihull.  You can view or print a copy below.

Advocacy agencies are listed on the Buzz Guide.  An advocate will offer mutual support and help you to speak up, get your views heard and your needs properly met. Advocates are independent and will only help represent your views but they won't make decisions for you.  They can be useful when you are unwell and finding it hard to articulate your feelings.

You can search for individual support groups in your area by using the keywords search below, or you can click on "show all" to view all entries.

Some of these are run through our trust, others by local organisations or users and carers themselves.  The groups offer people self-help and support through sharing their experiences. They can also provide social and leisure activities.

Have you got  a local group that you would like advertised on this site?  If so, click on the 'Add New Record' button below and submit your details for approval by our web team.

Our Opportunities Yearbook contains support groups, events and activities throughout the year.  You can view or print a copy below.

For special events and themed activities please visit the Events page.
