This event will include a number of interactive stands and workshops including the opportunity to share memories and thoughts from the last 70 years with service users, carers and staff, advice on how to take care of your own wellbeing, the chance to learn about research and innovation, NHS careers and the role of volunteers in our Trust as well as BSMHFT in the future.
There will also be an NHS70 Big 7Tea Party at lunchtime to mark the NHS turning 70 – part of the national celebrations taking place across the country during July.
John Short, Chief Executive at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, said: “I am looking forward to this year’s event, and would encourage everyone attending to share their memories and hopes for the NHS as we celebrate the 70 year anniversary.
“You will also be able hear about our performance over the past year, and our plans for the future.
“We want to hear what you think too as your views help us to create services that deliver the best possible care to people living in Birmingham and Solihull.”
