Christmas and New Year Message 2018

  Take good care of yourself over the festive period by:  

  • Making sure you have enough medication for the holiday period.
  • Planning routine GP appointments and check operating/opening hours of your   health care provider.
  • Making sure your house is warm when there is cold weather outside.
  • Calling 111 or visiting your local pharmacist for advice if you are feeling unwell, don’t wait for the GP surgery to open again.


All Acute and Urgent Care services are running as normal over the Christmas and New Year period. Some of our other services will operate different hours to normal.  Please see the table below for details:

Addictions Services

9am – 5pm, except public holidays.



Assertive Outreach (AOT)

9am - 8pm Monday to Friday with the exception of weekends which will be 9am - 5pm.

Solihull AOT will work 9am to 5pm throughout the Christmas and New Year period.

Birmingham Healthy Minds

Normal operating hours , closed on public holidays.

Community Mental Health Teams

9am - 5pm, closed on weekends and public holidays.

Health Exchange

9am - 5pm, closed on weekends and public holidays..

The Juniper Centre, Reservoir Court and Ashcroft

Open normal hours (please note reception is closed on public holidays.)



Single Point Of Access (SPOA)

8am - 7.30pm, closed on public holidays.

Specialist Psychotherapies Services

Both sites will be closed 24-30 December 2018.
Monday 31 December 2018, Coach House only will be open from 9am - 5pm.


Customer Relations (PALS) opening times over Christmas and New Year 

PALS will close on 24 December at 4pm. PALS service will operate between 8am and 5pm on 27 and  28  December and between 8am and 4pm on 31 January.

Office opening times over Christmas and New Year 

Our Trust Headquarters will be closed from 4pm on Monday 24 December until Thursday 27 December 2018. On Thursday 27 and Friday 28 the offices will be open. The office will close at 4pm on Monday 31 December, reopening on Wednesday 2 January.

Who to call in an emergency? 

Always call 999 if someone is seriously ill or injured, and their life is at risk.
