These events provide a great opportunity to not only find out about the work of Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and their partners, but to also help challenge the stigma associated with mental health.

The Deputy Mayor said: “I am delighted to be part of the Community Fun Day once again, after opening the event last year. Mental health is such an important issue, so it’s great to see an event like this taking place, which will not only raise awareness, but also help bring people together.”

Beresford Dawkins, Community Development Manager, said “Our engagement days are an opportunity for people of all walks of life to join us for a fun packed day, and to find out more about mental health and the support services that are available. We appreciate the continued support of the Deputy Mayor and look forward to welcoming everyone to what promises to be a great day.”
