Our first Community Fun Day this year is being held in Sparkbrook. It will take place between 12pm and 5pm on Saturday 16 June, at the Trust’s Zinnia Centre, 100 Showell Green Lane, B11 4HL.
There will be a host of exciting activities available including; fun and games for all the family, interactive and creative workshops, a market place, information stalls, a refreshment barbeque and not forgetting the live performances. We will also be celebrating the 70th anniversary of the NHS.
There will be a selection of live music including reggae band, One Love, a disco and R&B from 3rd Dimension, pop and indie from Contact, Scottish pipers and the Wellbeing choir.
These events provide a great opportunity to not only find out about the work of Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and our partners, but to also help challenge the stigma associated with mental health. The Community Fun Days are now in their sixth year, and attract hundreds of people, strengthening our relationship as a Trust with the local communities across Birmingham and Solihul.
