Information about our services over the Bank Holiday weekend

Take good care of yourself over the bank holiday period by: 

  • Maintaining the Government guidelines to stay at home and ensure social distancing.
  •  Making sure you have enough medication for the holiday period
  • Calling the Birmingham and Solihull mental health support lines if you are feeling unwell – more information can be found here

 

Who to call in a crisis?

  • If urgent mental health help is needed you can ring 0121 262 3555 for advice and support. This line is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and can be used whether you are known to our services or not.
  • If you are already under our the care of our services and have a crisis plan you can also refer to this for support.
  • Always call 999 if someone is seriously ill or injured, and their life is at risk.

Customer Relations (PALS) opening times

  • Our PALS services will close on Thursday 7 May at 6pm and will open again on Monday 11 May 8am – 6pm.

 


Services

All acute and urgent are services are running as normal over the bank holiday period.

Some of our other services will operate different hours to normal.  Please see the table below for details:

Addictions Services

9am – 5pm, except public holidays.

 Assertive Outreach (AOT)

9am - 8pm Monday to Friday with the exception of weekends which will be 9am - 5pm.

Solihull AOT will work 9am to 5pm throughout the bank holiday period.

Birmingham Healthy Minds

Normal operating hours, closed on public holidays.

Community Mental Health Teams

9am - 5pm, closed on weekends and public holidays.

Health Exchange

9am – 5pm, closed on weekends and public holidays.

Home Treatment Team

Open normal hours over the bank holiday period.

The Juniper Centre, Reservoir Court and Ashcroft

Open normal hours (please note reception is closed on public holidays.)

Single Point Of Access (SPOA)

8am - 7.30pm on Thursday 7 May, closed at the weekend and on public holidays.

Specialist Psychotherapies Services

Callum Lodge and The Old Coach House, Uffculme will be open until 5pm Thursday 7 May and will re-open Monday 11 May at 8.30am.

 

Visiting our inpatient services

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus outbreak our inpatient wards are closed to visitors, however, we do have arrangements for you to carry out ‘virtual visiting’ by telephone or using apps such as Zoom and Skype. Please contact the ward to discuss this.

Office opening times over the bank holiday period

Our Trust Headquarters will be closed from 5.30pm on Thursday 7 May until Monday 11 May. On Monday the offices will be open from 7.30am.
