Two hundred colleagues united for a very special annual awards ceremony to shine a light on and celebrate the successes, hard work and achievements of our colleagues.
Held at the city’s impressive Council House, the Values Awards was hosted by Chief Executive, Roísìn Fallon-Williams and newly appointed Chair, Phil Gayle.
The eagerly anticipated Values Awards saw a number of individuals and teams recognised for their inclusive, committed and compassionate work. The winners were categorised by gold, silver and bronze with some also receiving a highly commended shout out.
The evening was a welcome pause to stop and reflect on the incredible work that has been achieved over the last 12 months.
This year there were nine award categories, and their winners were as follows:
Compassionate Award
- Gold winner - Kenny Fakeye, Community Psychiatric Nurse
- Silver winner - Nina Mitchel, Clinical Lead for the Primary Care South team
- Bronze winner - Andrea Javadian, Senior Occupational Therapist at David Bromley House
- Highly commended - North Community Mental Health Team

- Gold winner – Tina Patel, Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Silver winner - Asia Ali, Peer Support Worker in our Maternal Mental Health Service
- Bronze winner - Daniel Wheeldon, Manager at Laurel Ward

- Gold winner - Sycamore Ward
- Silver winner - Haider Al-Delfi, Reach Out Quality and Governance Lead
- Bronze winners – Dr Andy Fox, Clinical Psychologist and Dr Nat Rowe, Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist
Lifetime Achievement Award
- Gold winner – Deloris Johnston, Nurse
- Silver winner - Christine Donnan, Domestic Supervisor at Warstock Lane
- Bronze winner - Lorraine Mattocks, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist
- Highly commended - Elaine Murray and Jennifer Lindsay
The winners were proudly handed their certificates, pin badges and vouchers by Governors and members of the Executive team as a token of appreciation for our colleagues' hard work and dedication.
The night was also a huge success for our charity, Caring Minds. Raising funds through an online raffle, and collection tins, Caring Minds charity raised a over £400 to fund ‘added extras’ for service users, extras that are over and above what the NHS can provide.
