Carers consultation meetings

Do you support a family member or friend who uses services provided by Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust?

If so your help is needed to contribute to the development of a new carers' strategy aimed at improving the carer and family experience of the trust.

A series of open meetings have been arranged for January 2012. The meetings have been designed to enable families and carers to give their fews on some of the things that really matter to them. This is an important initiative which aims to help carers feel better informed and supported by our trust. Topics discussed will be:

  • Raising awareness of carers and their needs
  • Improving the involvement of carers within the trust
  • Supporting carers better
  • Sharing and providing information to carers
  • Working in partnership with families
