BSMHFT and CBSO sing for wellbeing on World Mental Health Day

In order to mark World Mental Health Day on Wednesday, October 10, we will be launching our exciting new partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO).

We would like to invite you to join us for an afternoon of singing and music at CBSO Centre in Berkley Street on this day.

Music is a joy to be shared and a great way to draw people together; our aim on this day is to fill CBSO Centre with people who enjoy singing at every level, and to offer the opportunity for you to experience singing in a fun-filled and relaxed environment.

We would like you to come along to support this wonderful event – to be part of this unique choir and to perform with an ensemble from the CBSO.  We hope, through this opportunity, to be able to share with you the value and benefits of singing, especially as part of a group.

Join us for registration and light refreshements at 1pm. The sing-along, led by a CBSO choir leader will commence at 2pm, and the event will close with music by a CBSO ensemble at 4pm.

Booking is essential  due to the popularity of the event and the capacity of the venue.

If you would like to attend this free event, please contact the community engagement team by Monday, September 24 by email at community.engagement@bsmhft.nhs.uk or call them on 0121 301 1060.
