Carers invited to kick off trust conference

Friends, relatives and people who care for service users are invited to come to a free carers conference at St Andrew’s, home to Birmingham City Football Club, on April 27, 2012.

Carers often play a vital part in the treatment and support of service users, which is why our trust is putting them at the heart of its new carers’ strategy which will be launched at the event.

This conference will bring together a wide variety of agencies, support groups and services for carers of all ages, and offer carers an opportunity to share their views.

The event, which opens for registration at 12 noon, will also include sessions led by our Meriden Family Programme team, complementary therapists and a performance by the trust’s choir.

Attendees can also sign up for a free tour of the Blues’ home ground, in Cattell Road, Birmingham, to get a look behind the scenes.

For more information or a booking form, contact Sandra Pinnock, PALS manager, on 0121 678 4455 or email Sandra.pinnock@bsmhft.nhs.uk
