Ardenleigh celebrates 10th anniversary

Staff from past and present, along with service users, Board members and Governors held an afternoon of celebration to mark the 10 year anniversary of our women’s secure service at Ardenleigh on February 6, 2014.

Celebrations included canapés, mocktails and entertainment from local band Autronics, featuring the talents of Jo Neale who works in our community engagement team.

Dr Jeremy Kenney-Herbert, Clinical Director for secure services and Dr Kay Garvey, Consultant Clinical Psychologist gave a brief overview of the service, highlighting some of its achievements over the years.

There was also a nod to the future with much to look forward to at Ardenleigh. Our Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service who are also based at Ardenleigh will be moving into their new build on the site in the Spring. This will also signal the expansion of our women’s secure service provision.
