Episode four - Student Nurses: Bedpans and Bandages

This week, episode four of the ITV documentary Student Nurses: Bedpans to Bandages will follow one of our student nurses working in a community mental health teams.

Student Nurses: Bedpans and Bandages was first broadcast on Friday 14 February and will run for eight weeks. It follows the diverse backgrounds and lives of students from Birmingham and Manchester, with all the pressures, emotions and challenges they face in training and on the wards.

In episode four this Friday you will meet Diane Edwards who was filmed during her placement at Longbridge CMHT.

During her time, Diane got hands on experience of what it’s like to work in a community mental health setting. The episode follows Diane alongside other student nurses showing the challenges they face on a daily basis juggling academic study with home life and work on the wards.
