300 Voices engagement workshop: Improving experience and outcomes for young African Caribbean men (YACM)

Published: 16/01/2015

You are invited to join a 300 Voices Engagement Workshop.

The 300 Voices team will be running a series of workshops for young African Caribbean men with experience of mental health problems, their family, friends, and staff who work with them.

These workshops will facilitate a dialogue between the participants to enable them to work together in order to improve quality of service and service user outcomes. This dialogue is supported by an engagement toolkit, which has been developed by a consultancy team and Lived Experience Consultants.

The workshops are open to a wide group of participants – we welcome YACM service users, their family, friends and carers as well as staff from both the statutory sector and voluntary sector. They are focused around a series of activities that will provide many opportunities for you to share ideas and create a sense of what you want to achieve for mental health services in Birmingham, and for the people who are using and providing them.

When: Every Friday throughout February and March. You can choose to attend either a morning or an afternoon session.
Where: The Lighthouse, 100 Alma Way, Birmingham, B19 2LN
