300 Voices are looking for a Peer Champion Coordinator to join the project team on a fixed term contract to 31 March 2016

They’re looking for an enthusiastic individual able to engage with young African Caribbean men with lived experience of mental health problems in Birmingham and West Midlands area. Your key responsibility will be to draw together the young men in contact with the 300 Voices programme into a peer network where they can provide support to each other and contribute to the continued development and roll-out of 300 Voices in 2015-16. You’ll be liaising with young men, encouraging them to participate in the peer network. You’ll be coordinating network activities including meetings and inductions. You’ll also facilitate consultation between the peer network and representatives from local statutory agencies with whom the young men come into contact.

Part-time: 21 hours per week
