Vote for Action on Postpartum Psychosis (APP) in the National Lottery Awards

Action on Postpartum Psychosis (APP) has been shortlisted for the Best National Lottery Health Project and now needs your vote.

APP is a collaborative project between women and families with personal experience of Postpartum Psychosis (PP), world leading academics who research PP, and health professionals who support women and families during and after an episode. There are over  have over 900 members throughout the UK and further afield who have experienced PP themselves.

They support women and their families with information guides about PP and offer peer support through an internet forum, one to one e-mail support and community workshops.

APP is based at the National Centre for Mental Health at The Barberry and is supported by many people in the Trust including Chief Executive John Short and APP Chair, Dr Giles Berrisford.

Winning this award will allow them to raise awareness further about this devastating condition and enable them to help more women promptly at their time of greatest need.
