Announcing our 2016 Christmas card competition winners

Published: 20/12/2016

Earlier this year, we launched our annual Christmas card design competition. We asked budding artists among our staff, members, service users and the public to send in their designs to be in with a chance of having their design used as our Trust’s electronic card for 2016.

We received more than 50 entries, and the judges were very impressed with the high standard of entries.

The judging panel was made up of our Chief Executive John Short and Trust Chair, Sue Davis and Lead Governor, Faheem Uddin. After much deliberating, it was decided that two cards would be chosen as winners along with a highly commended entry for this year's competition, which you can see below.

The first winner is a reindeer bauble scene by service user, Bibi Senthinathan, and the second winner this year is a Christmas tree finger painting created by Keira, a student from Mary Seacole House. Our judges selected activity worker, Jim Nisbet’s alphabet tree card as highly commended. All cards will be available for Trust staff to send electronically over the holiday period.
