A 'winter warmers' recipe book has been produced by NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, which includes nutritious and delicious recipes and helpful advice on staying well this winter.
Celebrity chef Ella Mills - known as Deliciously Ella - has shown her support for the idea by contributing two recipes for the book. Ella is known for her cookbooks packed with natural, healthy ingredients, and one of her recipes included in the book is an exclusive Christmas dish, unavailable in her other cookbooks. The book’s guidance on how to stay well this winter features information about keeping homes warm, getting the flu vaccine and accessing urgent care.
Collect your free NHS winter recipe book on Thursday 17 November at Tesco Extra, 45 New Square, West Bromwich, B70 7PR, where representatives from Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG will be visiting to share advice on how to stay well this winter.
Anyone with a copy of the book is being encouraged to share their recipe creations by tweeting using the hashtag: #eatwellthiswinter
