Volunteer roadshows, 18-22 January 2016

Published: 05/01/2016

Come and join us at one of our roadshows to find out about volunteer opportunities at BSMHFT. Make January 2016 about giving your time by helping through volunteering.

Volunteers can provide practical help to service users and visitors, complementing the work of paid staff across the Trust.

Benefits of volunteering:

Fundraising Volunteers
  • You can connect with like-minded people
  • It is good for your mind and body
  • It helps to increase your self-confidence
  • You can help others and give something back.

Although volunteers are not directly involved in patient care, they can enhance service user experience. Our
volunteers represent the diversity of the communities that we serve. They can make the Trust a little friendlier and more comfortable for everyone.

Types of volunteering available:

  • Creative support and activities
  • Spiritual care to support service users
