Walk through a service user's journey at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust's annual meeting

Published: 06/06/2016

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust will showcase the journey of a service user through their new integrated community mental health services, as well as focusing on its performance over the last year, at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Members’ Meeting.

The meeting, which is open to the public, members, service users, carers and Trust staff, takes place from 12pm until 3pm on 7 July 2016, at the Uffculme Centre in Moseley.

John Short, Chief Executive at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are excited about the future of the Trust and would like to share our work on the development of our new integrated community mental health services across Birmingham and Solihull, as well as providing an update on how our Trust has performed in the last year and our plans for the future. We would encourage people to attend so they can hear first-hand what we have to say and so that they can tell us what they think.”

During the event people will have the opportunity to talk to colleagues about our community mental health services.

The schedule for the afternoon is as follows:
  • 12.00 onwards – Walk through a service user’s journey as they are cared for in our integrated community mental health services;
  • 1–1.40pm – Lunch;
  • 1.40–3pm – Formal Trust Annual General Meeting and Annual Members’ Meeting.
