This year, our Trust’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Members’ Meeting will provide a unique opportunity to find out more about taking care of your physical and mental health.
Everyone is welcome to attend this event, which takes place on Tuesday 11 July 2017 at the Uffculme Centre in Moseley, between 11am and 3.15pm.
As well as finding out about the Trust’s developments over the past year, and to hear about plans for the year ahead, workshops held throughout the day will support you in taking good care of your mind, body and spirit.
John Short, Chief Executive at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, said: “I am looking forward to this year’s AGM and would encourage everyone attending to set a little time aside to learn more about taking care of our own health and wellbeing.
“You will hear about our performance last year and about our plans for the future, and we want to hear what you think as your views will help us create services that deliver the best possible care to people living in Birmingham and Solihull.
“Information stalls, music, comedy and workshops on Mindfulness, Spirituality and Mental Health, Nutrition and Health and Staying Active, are available throughout the day that will help you take care of both your physical and mental health.”
The agenda for the event is as follows:
- 11.00am onwards - Visit information stalls. Workshops on Mindfulness and Staying Active
- 12.00pm to 12.45pm - Lunch
- 12.45pm to 2.30pm - Formal Trust Annual General Meeting and Annual Members’ Meeting
