Is this service for you?

You should visit Birmingham Healthy Minds Walk-In Service if it is the first time you are contacting the service and you are seeking support with common mental health problems including:

  • anxiety
  • low confidence or self-esteem

  • depression

  • low mood

  • stress.

Stepping stones

Above are just a few of the difficulties that we can help you with. Any of these problems can be caused by everyday life difficulties relating to family, work and personal problems.

We aim to make you feel supported in learning to manage and deal with your problems in an environment that is confidential and caring.

Our worker can speak to you in Punjabi, Mirpuri, Urdu and Bengali. Alternatively, we can book interpreters to support with language barriers.

We also provide the Birmingham Healthy Minds Walk-In service in Selly Oak and West Heath, however this service is only provided in English.

You can be screened on the same day with no need to book an appointment. You will be seen on a first come first served basis. We apologise that at busy times you may need to wait to be seen. Once you have been screened we can advise on the best treatment option for you.
