The Neuropsychiatry service is a specialist service with an international reputation aiming to offer cutting-edge care and management for the full range of Neuropsychiatric disorders. It is at the forefront of international research and the teaching of Neuropsychiatry.  We aim to provide specialist assessment treatment for our service users, working alongside mainstream mental health services, social care agencies and voluntary organisations. Our care is tailored to the specific needs of the individual who is at the heart of the care we provide. As a tertiary service and does not offer a care programme approach (CPA) for service uses. Where this is indicated local mental health teams should be involved.

We offer a comprehensive multidiscilplinary approach with specialist input from neuropsychiatrists, nurse therapists, occupational therapists.  In addition we have expertise from speech and language therapists and dietetic service within certain sub areas of neuropsychiatry.
