Today we are concluding Women’s History Month by celebrating Anna Sykes, Head of Communications. Anna was nominated by her team members Chloe, Grace, Dora, Nicky, Emily and Tim who said:

“We would like to nominate Anna this Women’s History Month. She is a huge asset to our team and the NHS and is always thinking about others in everything she does – often putting them before herself!

Anna goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone around her feels valued and supported. She consistently demonstrates care and compassion, even amidst the busiest of schedules and always makes the time to lend a listening ear, offer support, and extend a helping hand to those in need. Anna has worked in the NHS for many years, and it’s clear that her passion for it has never faded, living our Trust values daily.”

“She hates the spotlight on her, so we’re sure she will be holding her head in her hands when she sees she has been nominated, but her work ethic is incredible and her attention to detail for the benefit of our service users, patients and staff is exceptional. Working in Communications, Anna is always behind the camera, so we thought it would be a nice change to put her in the spotlight. Aside from her job at the Trust she is a fantastic mum and is raising two beautiful, funny, and sassy little girls who are super lucky to have a role model like her – thank you for everything you do Anna!”
