With the weather dropping colder and the nights getting darker it can only mean one thing… Spooky season is fast approaching!

To get into the ‘spirit’ our young patients over at Ardenleigh’s Adriatic ward have decided to get creative in preparation for Halloween. Woolly crochet witches’ hats, ghosts and plump pumpkins have been loving crafted, whilst aiming to raise £100 to help fund other fun activities like this one.

Hayley Dilloway, Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Medium Secure Unit (MSU) Matron said:

Our young people are working extremely hard to make these items and are taking such care and pride in each one. They are fundraising to help us purchase new activities for the ward, such as sports equipment, board games and more arts and craft items. All donations, no matter how big or small could make a huge difference.

If you are unable to visit Adriatic, why not send the young people an online donation to help them reach their intended £100 target by visiting Caring Minds’ JustGiving link.
