Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is gearing up for a vibrant and inclusive Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 23 September, from 10am to 3pm at the Uffculme Centre – and you are invited!
This year’s AGM is about more than reports and reflections, it’s a chance to pause, recharge and come together as one Trust community. Alongside celebrating our achievements and looking ahead, you’ll find a full programme of wellbeing activities designed to help you relax, connect and leave the day feeling energised. It’s also where we’ll be pouring over our plans for the future, ensuring our new five-year strategy continues to meet the needs of the people we serve.
A day built around you
- Wellbeing zone – From Yoga Nidra guided relaxation and desk-based movement sessions to therapeutic colouring, team-building games (Jenga, Twister, Connect 4) and calming music, there’s something for everyone.
- Transformation and information stalls – Explore our priorities and progress across digital innovation, community mental health services and equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Inspiring stories – Hear lived experiences from Paul Tyrell (Expert by Experience) and Charlotte Weir (Peer Support Worker).
- Formal AGM (12.30pm–1.40pm) – Reflections and reports from our Trust leaders, including our Chair, Chief Executive, Chief Nurse, and Deputy Director of Finance.
- Afternoon highlights – A performance from Women and Theatre, time to revisit stalls and even badminton in the garden before we close at 3pm.
