Recovery College for All – a new chapter begins

Recovery College is founded on the belief that learning together makes us stronger and supports our recovery. The courses, sessions and workshops are co-designed and co-delivered by individuals with lived experiences of challenges in their own mental health (Experts by Experience) and healthcare professionals.

As our Recovery College approaches its 10th anniversary in 2026, the service is entering a period of reflection and positive change.

We would love to hear your thoughts, comments and feedback to help us inform what the next 10 years of Recovery College will be. We welcome reflections from everyone, regardless of whether you have attended Recovery College before.

Thank you for your support. The survey closes Friday 5 December 2025.

Informing the next ten years of Recovery College for all survey

As our Recovery College for All approaches its 10th anniversary in 2026, the service is entering a period of reflection and positive change. To support this, a decision has been made to temporarily pause all learning sessions. This will give the team time to share their own experiences and gather feedback from colleagues, learners, families and carers.

Over the coming weeks, the team, along with colleagues and learners will be building on the ideas for the future of Recovery College and updates will be shared as plans develop.  If you would like to continue to hear about our plans for the future and stay in touch, please email us at bsmhft.recoverycollege@nhs.net.

We look forward to what the next decade will bring.
