Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre (Golden Hillock)

Your mental health matters. That’s why the Golden Hillock Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre (NMHC) is here to provide round-the-clock, compassionate, inclusive and community-driven support for anyone aged 18 and older. This is more than just a service – it’s a revolution in mental health care, designed with and for our community.

As one of six national pilot sites, our centre serves the communities of Small Heath, Heartlands, and Bordesley Green. Our mission is simple: to ensure that whenever you need mental health support, it’s available immediately, without long waits or complicated referrals.

Our Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre

What we offer

Our dedicated team is committed to provide the care and support you need, including:

  • Immediate mental health support – Walk in anytime between 9am – 8pm for support with any mental health concerns (telephone support is 24/7).
  • Tailored treatment and support – From psychiatric care and psychological therapies to social interventions and long-term recovery support, we’re here to help in a way that works for you.
  • Crisis and inpatient support – If you are in crisis and need urgent help, we can offer immediate care, including crisis admission if necessary, to keep you safe.

Expert care from a multi-disciplinary team

At the heart of our NMHC is a team of highly skilled mental health professionals dedicated to providing the best possible care. Our multi-disciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers, peer support workers, and therapists – all working together to offer you the right support at the right time. With a wealth of expertise and experience, our team ensures that every person receives personalised, high-quality care in a way that best suits their needs.

A community-led approach to mental health

Mental health support works best when it is embedded in the community. That’s why we work closely with local Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise partners, GPs and healthcare professionals to provide care that is holistic, culturally responsive and built around your life. Our multi-disciplinary team works closely with local organisations to ensure you get the right support at the right time.
