We are inviting colleagues, service users, carers, members, partners and stakeholders to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 29 September, from 9.30am to 2pm at the Uffculme Centre. This year’s event will focus on wellbeing and our new Five-Year Strategy, bringing people together to reflect on our achievements, celebrate successes and explore how we can continue shaping the future of mental health and wellbeing services across Birmingham and Solihull.

A day focused on wellbeing, connection and our future

The AGM is much more than our annual business meeting. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a range of wellbeing activities designed to help them recharge, connect with others and prioritise their own health and wellbeing.

Visitors can explore information and transformation stalls showcasing areas including digital innovation, equality, diversity and inclusion, research and development, quality improvement, community services and more. There will be opportunities to meet teams from across the Trust, learn about current projects and discover how we are delivering our Five-Year Strategy.

Wellbeing activities

The morning programme includes a variety of wellbeing sessions, including mindfulness and guided meditation, an immersive sound journey and a session exploring Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing and nature-based wellbeing. These sessions offer practical ways to reduce stress, improve resilience and support overall wellbeing.

Formal AGM and Annual Members’ Meeting

Following lunch, attendees are invited to join the formal AGM and Annual Members’ Meeting, where Trust leaders will reflect on the past year, share updates on performance and finances and discuss our priorities for the future. Presentations will include contributions from the Chair, Chief Executive, Chief Nurse, Executive Director of Finance and colleagues showcasing partnership working with British Transport Police.

Supporting wellbeing, strengthening culture, creating our future

Whether you are interested in wellbeing, learning more about our services and strategic priorities, or hearing about the progress we’ve made together over the past year, we would be delighted to welcome you.
