As part of the Experience Based Co-design of Psychosis Centred Integrated Care Services for Ethnically Diverse People with Multimorbidity study (CoPICS), people living with psychosis and multiple physical health conditions, along with their carers, shared what it’s really like to navigate care as someone from an ethnically diverse background, including the toll of having to repeatedly retell their story.

Watch our short video to hear their experiences, in their own words. The University of Oxford will be conducting interviews with staff, service users and carers in September to help shape this work further. If you’re living with schizophrenia or psychosis alongside two or more physical health conditions and are under Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, we’d love to hear from you. Service users and carers will receive £20 BACS transfer or a voucher as a thank you for taking part.
