Patients and colleagues at Tamarind recently came together to celebrate the service’s annual Activity Week, enjoying a programme of fun, inclusive activities designed to promote wellbeing, connection and community spirit.

The week-long event offered a variety of opportunities for patients and staff to take part in friendly competitions, group activities and shared experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Activity Week was created to encourage participation, strengthen relationships and provide opportunities for patients and colleagues to connect outside of their usual daily routines. Throughout the week, participants enjoyed a range of light-hearted activities that brought people together and fostered a sense of teamwork and belonging.

The event highlighted the important role that social interaction, engagement and meaningful activities can play in supporting wellbeing and recovery. By creating opportunities for people to connect, build confidence and enjoy new experiences, Activity Week helped to create positive memories for everyone involved.

Colleagues praised the enthusiasm and involvement shown throughout the week, with patients embracing the chance to take part, try new activities and celebrate successes together.

The annual event was a successful celebration of community, collaboration and inclusion, reflecting the strong connections that make Tamarind a welcoming and supportive place for patients, carers and staff.
