Lavender Suite has been named Team of the Month for July in recognition of the outstanding care, compassion and support shown to service users and their families.

The team received a number of glowing nominations from both service users and colleagues, highlighting their commitment to delivering person-centred care and consistently demonstrating the Trust Values in everything they do.

Those who nominated the team described Lavender Suite as caring, respectful and dedicated, praising colleagues for creating a safe and supportive environment where people feel listened to, valued and cared for during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

Nominations also recognised the team’s professionalism, kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to support both patients and families. Alongside delivering high-quality care, Lavender Suite was commended for its strong team spirit and collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues across services to achieve the best possible outcomes for those using the service.

The award celebrates not only the exceptional care provided by the team, but also the positive culture they have created through mutual support, compassion and a shared commitment to excellence.

A special mention also goes to the runners-up, Dawn House and the Older Adults East team, who were recognised for their dedication, innovation and commitment to providing excellent care and support.
